Who you agree with
These terms are between you (the business that creates an account) and [OWNER: legal entity name], [OWNER: address] ("Recapi", "we"). By creating an account you accept them on behalf of your business.
The service
Recapi records what your visitors do on your site or app, through our API and libraries, and returns lists of items to show them. You choose what kind of list each placement shows. We train, test and update the models for you.
Your account
- Keep your secret API keys secret: they act for your account. Revoke a key from the dashboard as soon as you think it leaked.
- Send ids that don't identify people directly: no email addresses or names.
- Don't use Recapi to break the law, to overload it on purpose, or to probe it for weaknesses without our written agreement.
Prices and payment
- Each call type has a fixed price per 1,000 calls, lower at volume, and a free amount every month. The current prices are on our pricing section.
- Without a card, nothing is ever charged: when the free amount runs out, the service pauses until the next month.
- With a card, we invoice your usage each month through Stripe. Prices exclude VAT.
- We tell you [OWNER: e.g. 30 days] before a price goes up; it applies from the next month.
Your data
Your catalog and your visitors' data stay yours. We use them only to run Recapi for you, as our privacy policy and the data processing agreement we sign with you describe. You are responsible for having the right to send us your visitors' data, and for your site's consent banner.
Availability
We work to keep Recapi up and fast, and our libraries fall back to popular items, or to an empty list, so your pages keep working if we are slow or down. [OWNER: no uptime guarantee / the guarantee and its credits].
Ending
You can cancel any time from the dashboard, with no notice period; we invoice the usage up to that day. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or doesn't pay, and tell you why. After an account closes, we delete its data as our privacy policy says.
